1998 : University Degree in Physics / 2001 : Master of Science in Biophysics and Medical Physics / 2007: PhD candidate in Computational Neuroscience

Research Interests:

Biophysical mechanisms in information processing at both single cell and neural network levels:

Spontaneous activity in cortical cultured neurons. Spontaneous activity in blind retina. Retinogeniculate synaptic mechanism.

Visual neuroscience:

Direction Selectivity at the output of retinal ganglion cells, LGN relay cells and V1 simple cells

Descriptive models for receptive fields (RFs) characterization in early visual system, retina-LGN-V1

Image Processing – biological plausible models for separable and non-separable space-time RFs (first Wiener kernel and static nonlinearities)
